TWGHs Joint Secondary Schools Speech Day
Given the latest development of the pandemic, the Speech Day was conducted both online and offline simultaneously. In the academic year 2019/2020, a total of 1,759 Form 6 students graduated from 18 TWGHs secondary schools. Admittedly, COVID-19 has somewhat hampered the learning progress of students, especially that of HKDSE candidates who could not but cope with mounting pressure and challenges. Fortunately, thanks to the high team spirit on campuses, and the timely anti-pandemic supplies and other forms of support rendered by the Board of Directors, all the schools were able to keep their safe and smooth operation, and help students to stay focused on their studies.
Our Percussion Ensemble and some members of our school choir joined hands to farewell all the graduates by performing at the TWGHs Joint Secondary Schools Speech Day. The performance depicted an exciting beginning of secondary school life to the celebration of this very proud moment. From the energetic piece “Stinkin’ Garbage”, which started the scene with an impressive sight of rubbish-bin hitting to the sensational piece “Happy”, which brought both joy and excitement to the audience. Their performance has successfully lightened the atmosphere and left a lasting impression on the audience.
