TWGHs Joint-School Study Tour 2025
From 5 to 14 July, ten students from our school took part in the TWGHs Joint-School Study Tour to the United Kingdom.
At the University of Cambridge, students explored British culture, Shakespeare, drama and music. Drama lessons were led by a theatre professional, while music sessions were taught by a Cambridge professor—both of whom were deeply admired by the students for their passion and engaging teaching style.
Outside the classroom, students discovered British heritage through punting on the River Cam, a walking tour of Oxford, sightseeing in London and attending an open-air performance of a Shakespeare play. At the Farewell Performances, they staged a play that showcased the drama and music skills they had developed throughout the tour.
The trip was a truly memorable experience—students gained a clearer understanding of university life at Cambridge, formed lasting friendships with peers from other Tung Wah schools, and returned with fresh perspectives, greater self-confidence and a sense of independence that will stay with them for years to come.
