The TWGHs Flag Day 2025
The TWGHs Flag Day 2025 took place successfully on August 20, 2025. Our students raised funds from generous pedestrians across Kowloon Tong, Lok Fu, Kwun Tong, Kowloon Bay and Ngau Tau Kok. Despite the sweltering heat, our students dedicated themselves to gathering donations from passersby. The outpouring of support from citizens, ranging from toddlers to seniors, highlighted the vital role the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals plays in serving the community.
This experience also extended classroom knowledge into real-life settings, allowing students to hone their adaptability and communication while serving and to learn to respect diverse voices. The insights and skills they have gained will provide a solid foundation for organising and engaging in community work.
Furthermore, taking part in this charity drive strengthened our students’ identity as members of TWGHs. The event closed with hearts full of gratitude, pride and fulfilment, reminding everyone how vital community solidarity and philanthropy are to our everyday lives.
