Jarsan’s Rhapsody
On 30 June 2018, Jarsan’s Rhapsody was held in our school Sinfonia Auditorium. It was a musical performance featuring Sam Au-Yeung and Jason Wong.
Sam Au-Yeung was a young classical and pop Hong Kong-born saxophonist. He began his music studies at the age of 5 and started to learn saxophone at 6 in Alliance Primary School, Kowloon Tong. Since then, he continued winning prizes with Saxophone. He obtained the ATCL (Saxophone Recital) diploma from the Trinity College London in 2014.
Jason Wong was a secondary five student and a vice-chairperson and percussionist with the school Senior Symphonic Band as well as a concertmaster of the school Percussion Ensemble. Works from J.S. Bach, Vivaldi, Piazzolla Pablo de Sarasate and Manuel Ponce were played.
Pieces by J.S. Bach, Satoshi Yagisawa, Vivaldi, Piazzolla, Sarasate and Manuel Ponce and more were played.
