Four Houses Singing Contest 2024-25

The four houses’ singing contest was held successfully before the Christmas holiday, providing not only an opportunity for our peers to showcase their singing abilities but also a chance for most students to relax before facing a tight and hectic revision schedule during the holidays. During the contest, the atmosphere was infused with joy, energy, and enthusiasm. This year, the theme of the contest was “cohesion,” which both the participants and the audience demonstrated through their interactions on stage and their enthusiastic waving of arms. After several auditions, only one solo performance and one duet from each house could participate in the final round. All the singers endeavored to deliver a high-quality show for students and teachers. Their tremendous devotion and diligence truly paid off. All the judges believed that this singing contest had the highest quality compared to those in past years. After a thorough evaluation and discussion, F5 Wong Sze Ting was awarded the Best Solo Performer in the contest, while the duet performance by F6 Cheung Ho Yim and Cheung Pak To Marcus received the Best Duet Award and won the Most Popular Award among all the performances, following a series of votes by our students. After the contest, some of our teachers and students sang a variety of popular and Christmas songs. This assembly concluded with joy and the spirit of Christmas.
