F1 Orientation Day
Our school had held two orientation events for both freshmen and their parents. On 22 August, 2023, a New Students’ Orientation Day was held to welcome the freshmen to the Wong Fut Nam family. The event-packed day began with an ice-breaking session, where teachers and students had the opportunity to get to know each other better with the help of student leaders. The Peer Counselors then provided a detailed introduction to the new school life in Wong Fut Nam in order to alleviate any worries the students might have had. Peer Tutors and Prefects also gave a talk on the academic and disciplinary details of the school respectively. After that, school librarians provided a thorough tour of the library. Lastly, the freshmen had a campus tour with student leaders and visited different special rooms where they may have lessons during school.
In addition, an Orientation Talk for both freshmen and their parents was held on August 24, 2023. During the talk, different committees such as Discipline, Guidance, Extra-curricular Activities, Social Work and IT, provided detailed information about our school. This allowed not only the freshmen but also their parents to become more familiar with the culture and environment of our school.
We believe that with the support and assistance provided, our freshmen will feel comfortable in school and enjoy their fantastic school life.
