Entrepreneur Stories: The New World of Digital Banking Seminar
On 9 March 2026, Form 4 students studying Economics and BAFS attended the BAFS “Entrepreneur Stories”: The New World of Digital Banking (New) Seminar, an inspiring session that explored the future of finance.
The keynote speaker was Mr. Tat Lee, Chief Executive and Executive Director of WeLab Bank, one of Hong Kong’s leading virtual banks. In his presentation, Mr. Lee shared the latest developments in digital banking and explained how fintech innovations are fundamentally reshaping the industry’s ecosystem.
Students particularly valued the interactive Q&A, which allowed them to engage directly with the CEO and gain practical, forward-looking advice. They learned about the critical role of innovation in financial services and the essential skills needed to succeed in an increasingly AI-driven business landscape.
The seminar not only broadened their perspective on modern banking but also motivated them to actively prepare for careers in a technology-powered future.
