Three of our Form 5 students: Cheng Ming Hei, Kwok Ka Wing, and Wong Yat Long formed a team and participated in the Weixin Mini Program Global Innovation Challenge in 2024. They developed an innovative program on the Weixin platform, showcasing their creativity and programming skills.
Our team advanced to the final round and presented their work to the judges on April 13th and 14th, 2024. The final round took place at the Shenzhen Tencent Seafront Towers, offering students a remarkable opportunity to witness the impressive technological advancements in our country. Additionally, they had the privilege of attending talks conducted by renowned speakers of our country, further enriching their knowledge.
The competition brought together a total of 50 teams from various locations, including Beijing, Chongqing, Guangzhou, Macau, and Hong Kong. This diverse gathering provided an excellent platform for everyone to exchange their creative ideas and insights.
We are honored to share that our school team has won the second prize in this esteemed competition. We would like to express our gratitude to Mr. Lo Wing Kin for his guidance and support, which played a significant role in this journey.
