Our school achieved remarkable success in the Division 1 inter-school athletics competition. This year marks over ten consecutive years, since 2013, that our boys’ and girls’ teams have competed at the highest level in inter-school athletics championships in Hong Kong. After three days of intense competition, our athletes excelled, with the boys’ B team finishing as first runner-up and setting a historic record for the school.
In individual events, Tsoi Hon Kan Hanz from the boys’ B Grade claimed the championship in the high jump, while Song Jia Jie Gavin secured first runner-up in the same event. Yan Jason Tsz Shing triumphed in the shot put, and Cheung Marcus achieved remarkable success, winning the championship in both the 100 meters and the long jump. Chan Chun Yuen won champion in triple jump and second runner-up in long jump. In the boys’ C Grade, Po Chun Hei finished in third place in the 1500 meters. Su Ka Ho won first runner-up in boys’ C Grade high jump.
For the girls’ A Grade, Lui Pak Yi won the championship in the discus event, while Lai Tsz Sen earned third and fourth places in the 400 meters and 800 meters, respectively. In the girls’ B Grade, Choi San Yi finished fourth in the javelin, and Wong Ching took third place in the discus throw. In the girls’ C Grade, Fung Pui Wai Shell clinched the championship in the 400 meters, tying the event record in the preliminary round, while Hui Hei Man secured fourth place in the discus throw.
In the relays, the boys’ C Grade team, consisting of Chan Sze Long, Lee Chung Han Johan, Lau Ze Hao, and Yuen Tsz Hin, finished as first runners-up in the 4×400 meters relay. The girls’ A Grade team, comprising Dai Yongshan, Shum Man Huen, Lai Tsz Sen, and Chan Cheuk Ying, also secured first runner-up in the 4×400 meters relay. Additionally, the girls’ C Grade team of Fung Pui Wai Shell, Bie Zhixuan, Chen Hei Tung, and Lee Sum Yi finished third in the 4×400 meters relay.
