Two teams proudly represented our school at the Hong Kong InnoHealth Cup, organized by HKU Med: one comprising dedicated students from Form 4 and the other from Form 5.
The event was highly competitive, drawing entries from over 150 schools. Out of these, only 20 advanced to the semi-finals and just 10 secured a spot in the grand finals.
Among the top 10 finalists, our Form 5 team achieved an outstanding result, claiming the prestigious First Runner-up position with their project, FIT 2.0. Congratulations to Ching Long Enoch, Wong Tsz Fung Matthew, Chan Sze Yeung Ocean and Chau Ethan Yu Heng!
FIT 2.0 is an innovative colorectal cancer screening method. Utilizing a lateral flow test device—similar to a COVID-19 rapid test kit—it delivers significantly more accurate results than standard market tests. Furthermore, it remains highly cost-effective and is considerably less time-consuming than a conventional colonoscopy.
We are immensely proud of both teams for their incredible effort, dedication and brilliant achievements throughout this challenging competition!
