This year, the Drama Society joined the Hong Kong Schools Drama Festival. Twenty-one members across Forms 1 to 5 participated in the English team of the Festival. They were not just the actors and actresses, but also the scriptwriters. Eight students were given the Award for Outstanding Performer, and the whole team obtained the Award for Outstanding Stage Effects.
As the theme of the drama was related to climate change, our team was invited to take part in the public performance, entitled Green@Community X TWGHs WFN Theatre Performance, which was organized by the Christian Family Service Centre on 11 May 2024. Our participation helped raise the public awareness of the local recycling network established by the Environmental Protection Department. The show was well-received and appreciated by the organizers and the audience. The students also found this experience insightful and memorable.
