Two teams of nine Form 4 students from our schools participated in the Aerosim Inter-school Aviation Tournament AIAT 2025.
Team A members include F4 He Lai Lok, Lee Hei Kwai, Fung Wai Hin and Lo Ho Ming.
Team B members include Ching Long Enoch, Tang Chung Man, Wong Ho Fung, Wong Tsz Fung Matthew and Chau Ethan Yu Heng.
In this demanding competition, students were required to learn the fundamental knowledge of aviation based on the Jeppesen Part 61 Ground Theory Course. They designed and built a model glider using the aerodynamics and aviation knowledge they learned from the course. They were also required to present their understanding and explain the concepts behind the design of their glider. In the final round, they demonstrated their skills in controlling an airplane using a flight simulator.
Outstanding results were achieved:
- All nine members successfully entered the final round of the competition.
- Team B won the Champion in Glider Flight Challenge. Members included F4 Ching Long Enoch, Tang Chung Man, Wong Ho Fung, Wong Tsz Fung Matthew and Chau Ethan Yu Heng.
- F4 Fung Wai Hin won the Champion in Flight Simulator Challenge.
- Ching Long Enoch won the Grand Champion (Gold) in AIAT 2025. As the Champion of the competition, Enoch was offered a free trip to Australia , including a 10 hours pilot training course this summer to experience the life of a real pilot.
